Reiki Services

Reiki, or Universal Life Energy, is a spiritual Japanese healing modality whereby practitioners place their hands lightly on or just above a person with the goal of facilitating the person’s own healing. During a session, the client is fully clothed while laying on a massage table.

Reiki is not a cure for disease. Instead, it is energy work that may help to balance the chakras (energy wheels) to create and facilitate a healing environment for the mind, body, and spirit. Reiki does not replace conventional medical care. Reiki is used as a complementary health approach.

A Reiki session may help to reduce stress, anxiety, and fatigue. It may help with pain management. Sensations can include heat, tingling, and a sense of calm and deep relaxation.

It is important for each client to accept and assume responsibility for their own well-being in order for the Reiki healing energies to have lasting results. Please refer to the FAQs for more information about the chakras.
